Greetings, villagers of the mainland. The time has come, and the serpent has landed on the mainland and is ready for your offerings. This ancient beast is one of the last remaining from the old times, before written history, before the villages came together in a global economy and named themselves, collectively, Furvilla. This serpent is where the villagers of Quetzal Palace have made our town, and its constant movement allows us travel across the entire Furvillian continent. Except for these coming two weeks, at least...

The serpent is peculiar, you see. It enjoys collecting small animals and weaponry/armor (though we are widely uncertain what it does with these items). If you bring it an offering of these items, it will reward you in turn. Our Cloudog species was created by the serpent, and it appears that it has created more life from the clouds:
As you may note, these creatures have a breeding cool-down of one day. This means that you may attempt to breed them, if you are skilled in animal husbandry, or you can continue to offer the serpent creatures in exchange for its creations. You may find that the serpent is more rewarding, if you are seeking out a rarer animal. When the serpent leaves on March 7th, these creatures will become infertile, and will not be able to breed.
But fear not, as the Guardian Angels will be working to collect rare and super rare creatures to offer at the Gala Ball. Nonetheless, if you happen to include 5,000 FC with your animal offering, the serpent may regard which species you prefer.
The serpent is giving away weapons and armor (and a helm) that are far stronger than most we have created... and much more sturdy. Perhaps one day the serpent will share its techniques for durable construction with our blacksmiths... hm...
This is the Serpent's Feather, and you can obtain it by trading in weapons or armor to the serpent. This is the currency of the Gala Ball. If you wish to purchase anything from the Gala, then you should collect these. You can also find them through a special Explore Event, Wandering Monster Battlegrounds, and when you turn in Minipets to the Serpent (a 25% chance).
And don’t forget about the Gala, it opens on March 1st at 12:00 PM. I expect you will be getting yourself ready for that... place yourself in a nice suit or dress, and you will look your best. Perhaps you can earn yourself a VIP ticket to the Gala? Do be sure to bring plenty of feathers, as there will be many fashionable objects available at the Gala for your perusal and purchase: plushes, rare and super rare creatures... perhaps other things, as we hosts see fit.
There will be more news later with information on exactly how you will be able to gain access to this very exclusive event so be on the lookout. You don’t want to miss the biggest party of the year.
Lastly, be sure to make time to visit Miss Isadore at the Serpent’s Pot, she might be able to brew up something very special for you.

A Headstart!

Hey all, just letting you know that the festival is activate as of now.
A more detailed news post with all the features and a run down will be posted later. This is largely due to last-minute changes I've made and the introduction of a new system - I'd like to be around to monitor things for a bit given my time zone doesn't align with the majority of the site.

Feathers will start appearing in neutral battlegrounds shortly, and the new exploration event will be available immediately.
House Repairs are Live!

You'll need a lot of them to craft improved versions of existing items, but they're fairly common! Check out the recycle shop for the recipes.
Magical House Repairs!

Hey all! Just wanted to announce an upcoming feature of sorts ahead of time (it will be enabled shortly).
Players tend to be more active on Furvilla around festivals, and we wanted to accommodate returning players more efficiently. To this end, during the festival you'll be able to hit a button that will:
1) Repair all your houses to maximum durability, if they aren't destroyed.
2) If they are destroyed, they'll be set to 1/50 durability, regardless of what their durability was beforehand.
3) While active, houses won't break; they'll sit on 1 durability instead.
You can click this button on the main page to modify your house durability with the above values - you can only do this once while the event is active. If you do not activate the button, you'll still benefit from houses no longer decaying below 1 durability.
Serpent Festival Coming Soon!

Time to start seriously preparing guys, we have an official start date now for our Quetzal Palace Serpent Festival! It seems that the Serpent is circling and will be planning to land on Wednesday, February 21 around 12pm Furvilla time!
I hope everyone is ready to welcome the great Serpent as well as Mayor Ana and all her cloud dwelling citizens, we're looking forward to joining everyone at the Festival and Gala.

Serpent Festival Update

Hi all, just giving out some information regarding the upcoming festival:
- The secret won't be available this year.
- The serpent will accept all uncommon and better equipment.
- The serpent will accept pets as it did last year.
- Store items will cost more feathers, but you'll also find feathers from exploration events, battling, and for simply logging in. You'll still get them from handing in items as well.
This is intended to make the event more accessible to all players.
- You can spend last year's feathers this year. Remember, the Gala opens a week after the event's launch.
- We currently don't have information regarding trophies for achieving feather thresholds.
Please note we don't have a specific date for the festival's start as of yet, but we'll keep you all posted.
The Frost Ring II

Just a quick update - The Minor Frost Ring is now available.
The drop rates for slabs, soup, and steel are the same here, but rare materials & crystals won't drop in this battleground.
Both the Frost Ring & Minor Frost Ring will be available until the 16th of February.

Hi all!
Just letting you know that there's two new battlegrounds:
The Training Dummy - A new battleground with a single opponent with no abilities or defensive stats and a bunch of health. Use it to test out new strategies!
The Frost Ring - A new high-end battleground with over-tuned monsters and rare loot. Common drops include slabs, soup and steel.
Please note that lower tier battlegrounds will be ready soon! I usually make the most difficult battleground first.
The Training Dummy ground will always be available. The frost ring will retire with its lower level counterparts, and a date will be announced when they're ready to go.

FD Pets can be obtained from the FurDollar Emporium. They have five day breeding cool downs and are available for breeding until March 1st, when a new batch of FD Monthlies will be released.
New Rare Species
The winner of the Create-a-Species contest is finally here! Everyone give a warm welcome to the Flailadon! Flailadon Morphing Potions can be found in the Recycle shop for 20,000 Fur Gems and will be permanent stock. And a big congratulations to their concept creator, SimplySuburban!
