Helper Deactivation

Hey all! Admin-Deinmaar here!
I have an unfortunate announcement today. I will be deactivating all Helper statuses. As great as I know that role has the potential to be, we've had a lot of unfortunate issues involving Helpers, as I don't think the responsibilities for the role were completely understood. I've avoided adding new Helpers while I tried to restructure, but it seems that it's going to take longer than anticipated. For those that are still interested, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the restructure. I will eventually be opening up actual applications for the new Helper status, and I will expect any new Helpers to follow all rules applied to the position.
All Helpers statuses should be reset by this time. If you see any I missed, please be sure to send me a PM! My apologies to all my Helpers!
this may seem interesting coming from me (a former helper haha), but im really glad this was done! i had a few problems with the helper role so im very glad it was addressed. once it is restructured, i hope i can find the time to apply again! i loved helping people around the site and i hope the role can become something truly useful c:
Super glad the helper issue was addressed. There were a few great, real helpers but there were sadly too many that went inactive, or didn't help and wanted the special green name.
You know, i adore helping and stuff, so i may apply one the restructures done....
I think even you turn all people to helper is not 「help」 new player stay.
This site is UNFRIENDLY for new player,system,market,everything.
We old players can,always help those new player,
But we can't help they forever if they can't stand itself,
Well,the good thing is,your guy still have chance to save FV.

And here I was thinking I just wasn't lurking enough to notice helpers... well, I hope the active helpers will be able to be jumped up the queue for the next applications at least. A few rotten apples don't taint the whole bunch, y'know. Anyway, I hope all goes well and I bid good luck to the new applicants in the new round! It's nice seeing staff care so much about the community's health like this.
I'm sorry to hear there were issues with the helper system! Of course users will be happy to continue answering questions, though, regardless of a title
I can't go into any specifics, but we just had a lot of issues with rules not being followed with some of them.
I didn't even know about helpers being a new thing on here. Why didn't it work out? If you don't mind me asking.

Most definitely, especially considering I JUST deactivated the Helpers, and I didn't send out PMs prior. There is going to be 0 tolerance for harassment. If you see this harassment, please be sure to report it so I can handle it personally.
Also is it possible to address about harassment towards the people who were helpers? I feel like some users might take this as an open invitation to mock them or something which can be concerning. Like I already saw one past helper getting the "hey you're not a helper anymore take it down!" I feel like it's unnecessary especially when the person is offline or something
