The fireworks have spoken, and it appears a new year is upon us. Let's welcome January in by taking a peek at the new monthly minipets:
These little critters will be around until February 1st, at which time they will be removed from stock and a new batch will slide in.
All vistas that are currently in the FD Emporium will be retiring on January 7th. A new batch of vistas will be replacing them.

Oooh, congrats to all the winnners! (I *so* happy to be seleted, since I bred 400 times with a Melting pet and didn't get a single Decorated myself.)
BTW: I used my 500 FD to buy a Manatee because Manatees are awesome and as a test to see if the same 5 breeding point system is in place for the pets. It is still there, so the pets are not something you can really breed with (and if 400 breedings with a Rare didn't produce 1 Super Rare, you can imagine how many 5-charge pets you'd have to buy to get a Super Rare even *after* you manage to get a Rare, which it took me over 200 breedings to get when breeding with a Rare, anyway). They didn't say it in the News Post, so I thought I'd give a heads up for those who, like me, prefer useful AH animals one can breed, like the Nudibranch.

(srsly thank you so much for adding manatees i love you all so much even if it isn't a villager dis is the best day of my life i need this manatee this manatee is precious and special and i'm going to give it all i've got to get or win a manatee i need a manatee also those green fly traps are cute i want a manatee and a fly trap give me a manatee and a fly trap thank you)

I admit I too am curious now about what exactly it means on Furvilla for an item to be retired. Can we get a clarification on this? Forum vistas of basic species seems a bit of an odd thing to retire in the traditional sense of "removed and unable to be purchased ever again." So I'm wondering if we're misunderstanding, or if these really are going to be removed forever.
