I have no idea what equipment crystals are so I won't vote on that...

But it seems to me many people seem confused on the sister-site concept; as I understand, it will be a personal/community project not funded by FurVilla but by you, but still linked. As it's independent of FV, you can test out your ideas on it and use it to implement things into FV as well. FV already has a long list of things to do, so in my opinion a sister-site will get many ideas put out and implemented faster. I think it's a great idea!
(I also really want to see mini games or activities with mini pets implemented; I love playing with my dear Wuff, but I'd like for us to have more varied fun for his sake, even if it's as simple as playing fetch or a sniffing adventure . If that's something that could be tested on the sister site and work great, I'd be endlessly in your debt!)
I love the idea of players being more involved in creation and such! I personally think it's best if it's more so aesthetic so players without muns don't feel at a disadvantage (just extras)

What's this sister site thing people are bringing up?

Huh... I have concerns about all three polls before I can vote on any of them. I’ll wait until Wisteria opens the sister site thread back up to comment on the first poll though since that topic is tricky.

For the second poll, I’d need more details before I honestly can say I’m ok with premium content. If it’s just kept to Villagers and some items that’d I’d be fine with, but some of the suggestions seem like they could potentially dip way too far into bringing free to play at a disadvantage. Especially with the ominous warning of “it would not be cheap.”

As for the third poll, I’ve never been able to equip a crystal so I can’t say how much more powerful they should be.

Yeah I'm also really concerned about the sister site thing, I don't think using a second site to fund Furvilla will work. Why not just take the ideas you had for that game and apply them here? Like you could have a mini game, kinda like how Neopets had Habitarium, Keyquest etc.

It kinda feels like Furvilla is dying or something and you just want to start again? :x I hope not, I really enjoy the site and still feel like it has a lot of potential. Maybe rebrand it or something if you need to? Idk

I'm confused on the "game site" question. It sounds like you're trying to change the site entirely and that would absolutely suck.

i think the kind of custom content described in the poll is a bad idea, personally. the main thing that first drew me to this site was the aesthetic of the art and characters. it already feels like some of the contest shopkeepers clash with the site, and if you allowed anyone with enough money to add their characters to the official part of the site, it would just become a mess. i think the only other customization thing we need besides what we've already got is minipet painties.

I voted no on custom content, but I think it could be ok if managed very carefully. I don't think just anything should be allowed. But maybe take suggestions for FD items, refine them within the furvilla team, and have people "vote" with actual money, if it's popular those who paid get it. Those who voted for something else have the option of keeping their $ or going in on the idea that was chosen? I dunno. I just worry without careful planning things could easily become a mess balance and aesthetic wise.
