Saturn is the 6th planet from the sun, and the most distant planet visible to the naked eye. It orbits the sun approximately once every 29.4 Earth years, and has the most extensive rings in the solar system. Its rings are made up of billions of particles, some as small as sand and some as big as mountains. It also has about 150 moons/moonlets. So far only four spacecraft have visited Saturn including Pioneer 11, Voyager 1 and 2, and Cassini-Huygens. Cassini is still orbiting Saturn, continuously sending back information when needed.
