Vern is very shy and queit, often locking himself in his office for periods of time until he gets a medical potion he's working on perfect. Ocassionally he'll come out and let his neighbors try his work to mend their illnesses. Don't be too harsh on him if he gives you a potion and it doesn't work unless you want to see a heartbroken crying doctor. He wants nothing more then to help others with his potions.
