Villager: Effigia

A former wanderer and thief, Effigia settled down in Dragonsmaw after a disastrous raid on a Rare Impaler's lair left him badly injured and unable to continue working as a thief for some time. With enough FC hidden away to live more than comfortably and a good network of connections in Dragonsmaw, Effegia decided it'd be in his best interests to quit while he still had his life.

Though he promised himself he'd behave, Effigia now works as a fence and is more than willing to help any villager get their paws on any sort of rare or contraband item for the right price, of course.

Since moving to Dragonsmaw, Effigia also developed an interest in animal husbandry and while he has considered making this his primary source of income, he chose to keep it up as just a hobby.

Effigia can come across as cold at first, however once he's comfortable he is actually very sociable and a little flirty. A quick way to make the situation uncomfortable is to ask Effigia about his injuries. He'll try to avoid answering or just simply ignore the question.
Those that knew him prior to the incident at the Rare Impaler's lair swear that Effigia was once an absolute rogue that spent every night that he wasn't working either gambling at some seedy bar or trying to romance some new fancy of his. It's quite shocking to them that Effigia has become somewhat of a recluse now, rarely seen out in the company of anything other than some animal that he's working on domesticating.
