I don't have an open slot, but I'm working on getting another slot. ^^ I have to run outside for a bit though to tend the farm stuff.
Can you switch your other villager to an explorer? :o
Oh yeah. XD Smith was in the animal husbandry career too. I think that the more its done the more they master it. But it took about 2-3 times to find a horse thing, then a wolf, but I didn't get either tamed. I think its the same in all the classes, because Giovanni fails to grow a good amount of the seeds he plants.

Luck? I'm not sure on luck, but I switched Madoc from a doctor to an explorer so that I could find items to sell. :D Then I made enugh money to buy Giovanni, and Giovanni grows the seeds Maddoc finds into plants that sell for more then the seeds alone.
