Briscoe is Whiskerton's best plumber - an overly narrow achievement that they nonetheless take pride in. Most of their days are spent dealing with burst pipes, fishing pets out of drains, or wading through muck to find problems deep in the sewers, not helped by his immense disgust at wetness and slimy textures.
