The saboteur class is a specialist class developed in a hive that was established in an area inhabited by a hostile culture. Derived from an officer, the saboteur has mild psychic abilities which it can use to hypnotize non-tarspawn into not paying attention to it.
In addition, they have a special type of saliva that (after drying onto a surface) can be remotely detonated with a small psychic pulse. The explosion is not very strong by itself but when properly targeted can cause a lot of damage to buildings.
Temmes is a standard export unit. Their home-hive is one of the daughter-hives of the original saboteur developer. There is less need for the specialists in the daughter-hive's location, so they train them mainly for sending to other hives.
Temmes has themselves never taken part in a sapping mission, and their expertise is primarily safe excavation and detonation. However, they've found a new calling of alchemy in the R-45-OcD hive. Temmes prefers the quiet isolation of the alchemy workshop to the noise of explosions or the hustle and bustle of socializing.
