Lycanthropy. Changes into a beastly monster after exposure to moonlight or especially frustrating board games. Howling at the moon relieves the symptoms for a little while, but use a Golden Apple for best results.
About
Fighter/digger class is a specialist meant for building the hive in areas where digging is especially arduous or rapid expansion is needed. The typical weapons of a fighter have been suppressed in favor of large digging limbs and smaller manipulation/grooming limbs.
The everted snout is still present, though typically reduced in length.
Fighter/digger class units are similar to core fighters in personality - playful, extroverted and physically active. Due to their heavier frames they tend to engage in play-fighting rather than chasing one another. These fights involve shoulder tackles and headbutts as well as mouthing or slapping with the small manipulatorlimbs. The large digging limbs are too dangerous for playfighting.
A hive with excess fighter/diggers can still use them for battle or as guards, but they are too slow to hunt down any game.

Tix is a transfer from another hive. He actually quite dislikes digging because it gets her fur dirty and scuffs his armor. She can spend hours cleaning himself only to lay around like a showcat.
Due to this peculiarity (truly, this hive is a collection of 'all the units too strange to work in our normal hives') Tix has been given a job as a tailor.
She rarely gets work, but he will perform it carefully when she does.
