Amber is infected with
Lycanthropy. Changes into a beastly monster after exposure to moonlight or especially frustrating board games. Howling at the moon relieves the symptoms for a little while, but use a Golden Apple for best results.
About
How it's been going during our time in this... "village".

Well, we've been here a while. This village has never really had anything special going on.
Joey suggested that I start keeping a log of what goes on. They said I'd be the best candidate for a "record-keeper" since I'm quiet most of the time and mostly just do my own but they "know" I'm "pretty good at listening".
So...
So far, as stated, the village hasn't had much happen.
We've been here quite some time, and once in a while, somebody new gets dropped in.
Some of the residents call these people "familiar". Some people even know them personally.
This place is weird, to say the least. One by one we've been getting dropped in randomly over the last few years.
There doesn't seem to be any way in or out; the outskirts of "town" lead right back to where you started. We've never seen any options such as vehicular travel or anything else that may lead us out of here, and there's no TV or news to tell us of the outside world; the world we once knew. Are we still in that "world", or is this a "new" world? Confusing. Upsetting to think about too hard, to say the least.
Most of the villagers here have felt fine the whole time, thinking of this as a relaxing getaway. But some grow antsy and nervous.
We're told that we can contact administration if we seek a "change of scenery". So far, we've been somewhat unnerved by these vague statements and have stayed away from such options.
We grow weary by the day, though.
Flinn, our construction manager, has been recieving orders for "outside villages" we've never seen nor heard of. We don't even have any actual construction workers living here... so far.
Still, I worry about our fates. Why were we put here? Some sort of experiment?
Personally, I'm not too worried yet. There are no signs of us running out of resources or having such cut off.
Hmm... I guess I'll keep watching out for the village while I'm not on job duty.

Now I've gotten to thinking... Are we even in a "village"? Am I specifically stuck in some weird simulation with my own memories of the people I know? Are the other "people" even real? Odd. Weird. I won't think about it too hard. Ehh, I think I've been listening to Lulu too much. Hahaha. That sounds like something she'd say.
Agghh... Whatever. At least they've provided us with some forms of entertainment while we're here... I've got Stardew, so... whatever.

We spend our time here doing "jobs" every day. We make products such as meals and dyes, battle "monsters" that seem to regenerate endlessly, build crafts, and other things...
Our workspace, however, is rather limited and small. We have room for about ten "workers" at any given time. If we recieve orders that another duty needs to be performed, one worker must pack up their workbench and move everything into their room. It takes about a day for people to move out and another to move in, but after that, work resumes and the temporarily-retired worker can rest and do as they please... until they're called back in, I guess.
We don't really know what makes some jobs get called for over others, or who is calling the jobs in. But we do try to rotate each employee's load at least somewhat evenly... unfortunately for some, there aren't many to take their places and they end up doing it all on their own. That was my case before Lulu came around, but to be honest my job wasn't called for quite often.
Marie's been working nonstop trying to prepare meals for the administrators. They promised us a workplace expansion if we can reach a certain threshold... Whatever it is they need all this food for, I have no clue, but this poor woman has been practically worked to death under these conditions. It's a shame we don't have anyone to help out, nor do we have room to accomodate another cook. I can only hope her work pays off.

One week left to prepare.
We've exhausted most of our resources and money for the sake of this push. It's troubled some of the villagers seeing all of our numbers go down for the sake of a mere chance at a quality of life improvement... but we haven't given up.
Our money cache has gone from one million to less than a quarter of that within these last few months while we prepare for the big move... and even worse while we make last ditch efforts for supplies.
Melody gave up her work spot so that Cole could join Bunny in scavenging monster territory for any sort of chance at supplies. Lara stepped up to assist Marie in cooking as well, but we're only going through supplies at a faster rate for what seems to be a fruitless effort.
We've barely passed the halfway point to our goal. Am I worried? A little. But there's nothing I or any of us can do; we are at the mercy of the lands to provide us with materials we need.
Regardless of whether we succeed or fail, we'll have no choice but to rebuild our stocks as soon as this push is over. We will certainly not be able to provide any fancy meals for the village any time soon; we'll have to continue subsisting on the healing potions Lulu is able to provide. But she's happy to be of some sort of assistance.
As for me... I guess I'll just... go back to playing some video games in my quarters... and hope for the best.

Oh my god, we made it. We actually did it. 5000 points.
I'm relieved that our work paid off... and everybody can go back to normal.
We wouldn't have been able to do it if Bunny hadn't found the battleground with the huge payout. She got a bit bruised up, but she brushed it off pretty well.
Tasha was a pretty good deliverygirl as well. She said she's gonna sleep for the next seven years after carrying all of those boxes.
Now that this work is done... Marie and Lara can rest as well. Geez, I don't know if anyone worked harder than them. Devon has been itching to get back to work.
Lulu and I did the math earlier, and it was calculated that we probably would make it, but Lulu was still pretty stressed out about it. I'll admit I was, too.
I didn't even have to do any serious work the whole time, so I feel pretty guilty for not helping out as much as I could've, but that's what thiis push was for, wasn't it? For more workspace?
Well... Now we have to work on... rebuilding our supplies. Sigh.

There's no way we all just agreed to repeat the whole ordeal again, is there...?
The upgraded workspace was certainly a big help. The team has been much more productive and we've restocked supplies much quicker than before.
An "event" started this month, it's allowed us to gather points at a much higher rate. We wouldn't have even all agreed to try this month if it weren't for that... and that's why we've decided to do it at all. Hopelessly, of course, but it was the final voted outcome. Sigh.
Ah, well. Now that we have more resources to work with, there's a chance it may not be as difficult. We can try, I suppose. All we have to lose is our time, effort, and supplies, I guess.
