Grand Duchess is Duchess's Grandmother and was the matriarch of The Garden before her granddaughter, of which the title and responsibility was passed down. Her kin still looks to her for her guidance and wisdom, and she is still just as much revered as her granddaughter. Gran likes to spend her days "patrolling" the banks of the large pond, claiming that it keeps her fit and young, and stating that it keeps her from boredom. Elder she may be, but judge her not. For she is perfectly capable of running off unwanted intruders.
