Curious, intelligent, and cocky at times
Mason is an aspiring detective, part time supernatural investigator. Hes often called in to investigate crimes and murder scenes at the worst of times.
"Can it wait? I just got this ectoplasma sample! Oh..A murder? Fiinnneee. On my way"
In his free time he scouts for anything that can not be explained. Reading and editing his journal. Sometimes his paranormal experience helps him with his crimes, after all solving a crimes a lot easier when you can ask the ghost who killed them, how, and why.
He has caught the eye of one old ghost who now follows him and his day to day activities, doing her best to save him when he gets himself in a sticky situation.
He also has a pet kitsune that helps him grab books and just adores a scratch on the chin.
Whenever he gets scared or surprised he poofs up in a cat-like manner, leading to some calling him adorable. People who do this tend to get an angry glare in return.

"Well, there's always something dangerous in every job." She showed the scar on her hand. "I hope your job is less dangerous now..."
She smiled at the detective. Juni was glad she didn't take anything bad with her. "I don't think I'm carrying anything.."
"Ohhh, I see! Honestly, I would go check out that bakery, too. I've always liked all of those interesting stories about supernatural things when I was a child...But then I started to work and...well y'know, didn't really have time to check out all kinds of haunted places." She looked around, trying to see if the ghost was here somewhere. "But it must be really interesting to hunt for supernatural things. Sounds really fun."
"A ghost friend, huh? That sounds really interesting." Juni smiled. "I think I've heard about Astray somewhere..."
"Ooh! Thank you for telling me that! I'll tell my friend about that when I meet him..." She smiled at the detective.
"You know so much about paranormal things! When did you start to study all of this? " Juni asked.
"I haven't had any encounters..." Juni smiled. That was a lie, she did know a lot of aliens. But is that supernatural or not? "But my close friend claims that he saw a ghost ship when he was fishing with his friend. I actually kinda believe him. It can be possible."
"The police didn't believe him, though. They said that he's crazy and just left. Now my friend always take his camera with him."
"Hm. I'm not sure I even believe they exist. Anyway you look spooked, buddy."
"Fame...Fame is something that can help a person change the world...Or at least part of it." Juni smiled. "Or it can cause a lot of troubles. But what can I say, everything has it's own negative effects."
The cat tilted her head. "Kelpies, huh? Well if there's evidence that they did it, then why won't people believe?" She said. "People try to believe only into things that can be proven by science. And because no one has "ever seen them", no one believes it was them. Cops never believe in magic, y'know." Juni looked at Mason. "But it's good that you believe in it. It is always good look if you pay attention on everything, not just one thing."
