"... oh, and there was the whole plague thing after the founding...."
he fell silent.
"just forget i said anything. please?"
the fairy frowned for a moment.
"lets see.. i was around before Raven's nest was founded.... and according to the tourist guide it was around 100 years ago.. but, i also hung out with those now extinct foxes (not referencing anything real here) and lived on my own before that.... soo at least 350...no that isn't counting all those winters.. lets just say 450?" he mumbled as he tried to recall his past.
(pfft, he is actually around 700. time doesn't really cross his mind.)
jacob paused before waving his right paw slightly.
"i always had them.. though at first they were so tiny and... a bit damp... that they could be overlooked. i also used to be tiny"
the fairy tapped a finger against one of his fangs.
"i think it was maybe.... around my first winter when they started growing? i had them when i awoke for spring.... or was it the second week of spring? believe it or not i am older than i look."
the fairy shrugged.
"some can and some can't.. and some need years of flexibility training.... i guess it has to do with muscle structure??.. i need to look into that.."
the fairy gazed over the multicolored being with a thoughtful look.
the fairy smiled as the creature sang his name .
"topsy turvy? w-"
he gasped as he watched the creature contort itself.
"oh! you would make a great gymnast! could you always do that?"
(pfft, i am back.. i kinda just faded for a while)
