About
Turquoise originated in the ocean dome, but after a tragic event she couldn’t stay, emotionally and legally. ( she dident kill anyone, don’t worrie ) so she left, after living there for 17 years.
Turquoise swam, the dozen little schools of fish startled in her wake. Churning the clear light blue water with her back paws, letting the front paddle lazily. She sighed in her head contented, pausing for a moment to gaze at a blubbery octopus making its way across the coral. In just a moment, a second, a tiny sound pierced the water and was caught by her sharp ears. What was that? She thought bewildered. She stood for a moment, the flicked her tail and spun towards the sound.
A few moments later, the cause was found. A baby manokit was playing in the sand with her mother picking up coral only a bit away. Turquoise glanced at the dragonet. He dident make that noise, or the mother. She thought in confusion. The sound she had heard, was, more like a slicing sound.
Her quick gaze found it nearly immediately. “ Watch out! “ she tried to call out to the dark blue mother. But I was too late. The shadowed figure had already clasped its claws around her mouth and slit her neck a moment later. Turquoise froze, shocked. The figure let the mother fall from his grasp, her dead body floating and hitting the ground with a muffled thump. It turned, and for a split second she saw its eyes, the cruel, sharp gray gaze of
A shark.
