This is the greenhouse of the village. It's decently sized, and air conditioned to boot, with plants from all corners growing in various herbalist pots, one of which has a small manta ray bat tending to it. There is even a large tide pool about the size of a small pond where plants native to Oceandome are growing. The saggitari tending to them rises from her knees, and turns to face you, the blooming cargon you are just now realizing was there also raising his great head to loom over you both.
"Hello. Was there something you needed?"
"No, no, I don't come from Tiger Eye Peak. I can see why you would think that, though. No, my homeland is a place much farther north than the mountain range that holds Tiger Eye Peak, on a great glacier that many call home."
"Hard to imagine, isn't it? But its livable nonetheless. Oh look at me, going on and I haven't even introduced myself yet. My name is Camellia, and I take care of the plants here just like I did when I lived on the Prismatic Glacier. Well, save for the undersea ones, those I had to learn how to grow. But my task remains the same nonetheless."
Evidently having decided that you’re not a threat, the giant plantimal lowers his head back down to laze in the greenhouse sun.
"Yes, plants can grow out there. Very, very hardy ones. You didn’t think I picked up Larkspur when I came here, did you?"
The great serpentine cargon opens a single eye at his name, before lazily letting it close.
"Oh, you have the special seeds needed to grow Blooming Cargons here, too? Huh. I take it they’re found in Tiger Eye Peak, then? That's good to know."
"Who- oh, that's Kiara. Don't mind her not introducing herself; the poor girl's almost cripplingly shy. She's my apprentice, and helps me out around the garden. The help is much appreciated, I can assure you."
"Hobbies, hobbies...racing. The joy of running, and testing yourself against others who share your love of speed? Amazing. Faolan, Polaris, and I have had many such races. But there is a certain joy and peace in sitting back and simply observing nature. My best friend and I have spent many hours together doing just that."
"Who's my best friend? Oh, that is Tienyo - his house is one of the ones on the edge of the village, between the sea and the forest. It's the one with the massive pasture, you can't miss it. Go say hello if you haven't already, will you? He's always happy to have visitors."
"Sir Milo? Yes, he’s my younger brother. He’s a knight of the Dawn Brigade, the small army of warriors protecting the Prismatic Glacier from monsters of the sea and skies alike."
"Why do we look so different? We had different fathers, but we are brother and sister nonetheless. I wouldn’t recommend asking about his father though. It is a...touchy, subject for the both of us."
"Now, I'm afraid I'll need to get back to work. These crops are grown for Imber and Ronan’s potions, and the surplus sold to fund our costume shop. We just got an influx of orders, and we're a little swamped at the moment. There's various villagers from other towns chipping in here and there as well, which is quite kind of them. And while its still a lot of work, its not nearly as bad as it once was, now that we’ve gotten back into the swing of things."
"Yeah, that was...something else..."
"Anyway, I hope you're enjoying what our little village has to offer. Now can you move a little please? The shelf directly behind you is where my watering can is. Thanks."
