Villager: Ichor, the feral

You are taking your nightly stroll in the forest, pondering the happenings of your overwhelming day. You are especially stressed, not noticing that you are trekking deeper into the brush that you would normally avoid, passing the point of which you would normally begin backtracking to your humble home. Deep in thought, you fail to realize the thorns growing ever more common and condensed, scratching your skin and leaving minor wounds. You stop in your tracks, the air suddenly turning still. You gaze upwards to the hill in front of you, just in time to catch a glimpse of a wounded deer. Although he only passed your line of sight for a moment, it seemed to be longer. He gazed at you mid-leap, the pain in his eyes disappearing for a moment. He is followed by a wounded bird, wearing some sort of mask to hide his pain. You stand still as the night continues on, feeling connected to the creature that you had just seen in some sort of emotional way. You eventually journey home to have dreams of frolicking in the woods, ignoring your pain, as you are accompanied with someone that feels similar pain as to you.
