From the corner of you eye, you spy an Orange Draggy, moving quite fast.
A worried-looking Manokit is running after it, paws held out.
"Draggy! Come back!" They call, slowing to a stop.
The Orange Draggy pauses for a brief minute, and looks back at the Orca-colored Manokit. Then, as if to say goodbye, gives a quick tilt of the head, and starts speeding up again.
"Draggy, I'll buy you your favorite treats!" The desperate Manokit shouts pleadingly.
However, the Draggy keeps moving, and you notice is growing closer to you. As the Draggy starts to pass you, you quickly step to the side and scoop them up. The Draggy isn't very happy about this, and starts making little squeaks, wriggling in your grasp. You carry the Draggy back to the Manokit.
"Thank you SO much!! He's just mad because I caught him sneaking food from the treat cupboard." The Manokit takes the pet from your arms and strokes its head. The Draggy visibly relaxes, and snuggles in its owner's arms.
"I'd best get going. Thank you again!" The Manokit says as they take off.
"You're welcome." You say to no one in particular.
