Hamsa is a gentle beast but a fierce protector against harmful and malevolent forces. They are a large creature, but courageous and wise in direct nature. He is never hostile unless absolutely necessary, and even then it's always defensively (with his strength, it doesn't require much effort anyways). Unlike most generic sacred and powerful beings however, Hamsa also has a very sassy side and fluent in sarcasm. Meeting Hamsa is almost like getting back in touch with an old friend, and the trash-talk that comes with best friendship is immediate.
