Despite Atramentous' kinder and more peaceful nature, he does aspire to become an official pireate and a part of his older adoptive brother's famed crew, and impress Captain Silver. Due to this, he is also considered the younger adopted brother of Vishnu, Spoopy and RIP as well, though he does not share the same closeness to them as he does with Silver.
Silver found Atramentous when he was just a kit. Atram's family was extremely poor, so they sold him off as a slave since he was the weakest and youngest of the family and provided the least. Silver attacked the slave ship and freed them all, but Atram was just a kit with no place to go, leading Silver to take him under his wing. Since that day, Atram saw Silver as his only family - since he travels with Silver and doesn't spend much time with his other adoptive siblings. Silver shows an unwavering protectiveness over Atramentous as he does with his biological siblings, though he does hide it most times and acts very 'cool' around Atram.
