Emera, thus named by the few locals who have been so fortunate as to see him, is a mysterious Gem Raptor who lives somewhere within the mountains. He has only been spotted during summer months; his feathers are robust earthly colors and his chest gem shines a bright emerald green, hence his name. Residents don't know why Emera hides away from prying eyes, nor do they know where he takes shelter from the elements. He has, however, been spotted a few times over the course of several years; locals have made an unspoken agreement to live and let live. Some superstitious villagers even view sightings of Emera as good omens of healthy harvests to come.
