About
Estella is a closed species called Mineral Demon created by Tspuun. Much of their ancient history is lost to them, but high-ranking scholars and historians of Mountainhome know the truth. Mineral Demons were born of the last breath of a dying god beneath the earth, and are magically bound to its soul.
This bond sustains them and grants them the boon of long life, but at the same time binds them to the physical location of the god: deep beneath Mountainhome. Those who stick close reap the most benefit, while those who stray become sick and die. The ritual of a pact, however, ties their bond to someone else, and allows them freedom.
