"Melodinas are originally from the lost souls of children. Their songs and instruments represent memories that have festered into a physical form.

In the beginning, a child, in the midst of a chaotic war, passed. Their soul, clinging desperately to a life already flickering away, caught wind of the sweetest, saddest melody they had ever heard. The grief, as hauntingly beautiful as it was, helped them fight to turn to something brighter. That is how the first Melodina, called Mother Music, found the first owner.

Over time, they have evolved from mere memories. They are drawn to children or places of tragedy. They really just want to help.
