The Count 等 is infected with Lycanthropy. Changes into a beastly monster after exposure to moonlight or especially frustrating board games. Howling at the moon relieves the symptoms for a little while, but use a Golden Apple for best results.

About

A guardian spirit of an atoll coral reef manifested by climate change's effect on the ocean and its ecosystem. Unfortunately by the time she was created, her reef had been significantly destroyed. In pre-Furry times, threats to a reef included oceans heating, or an invasive star fish. Unable to adapt quickly enough to organized, sapient beings cutting coral for building materials, her charge was destroyed.

Distraught, she gathered the surviving pieces of her reef and fled where there are no coral-cutting saw, no submarines, and no pollution... Tiger Eye Peak. Her powers are made to defend against the environment, so the climate was no problem for her. She went to the very edge of civilization (which, in TEP, happens to be Tenset), and set up in the nearest saltwater lake.

That one, alllll the way up there.

The lake is unnaturally warm, and teems with life. Many villagers in the nearby town of Tenset organize expeditions to the lake to swim or enjoy the fauna, but will inevitably come face-to-face with the massive crocodile they've come to dub "The Count."

But it doesn't end there; in a cruel twist of fate, The Count is a big softie.

She fears and dislikes villagers, but was not made to destroy. The god has a confidence problem. Getting on her bad side is a feat, and it only takes some puppy dog eyes and a well-placed chilly sneeze to convince her to allow you in the lake. As long as you don't break her coral, hurt any of her animals, and ALWAYS make sure to mind your manners, the magical lagoon is a warm oasis in a desert of permafrost.
