Roan was out exploring from his own village when he got lost, he was actually lost for about a week before Rowdy found him! Roan was a bit scared and very hungry so Rowdy brought him back to see Hazel.
Roan was in pretty rough shape, he was very dirty, covered in burrs, mud, dirt, and lots of scratches. However to Hazels surprise he wasn't in any worse shape than that, after being lost in the cold dark woods of Dragon's Maw one would usually come out far worse! (if at all)
Roan became quick friends with Rowdy and ended up being a new member of their family... Roan some how forgot where he had lived previously..
