"The market is such a busy place, isn't it?"
You look over. On the other side of your cell sits a red panda, supposedly your cellmate. He had been so quiet, you have just noticed him. You nod.
He smiles a bit. "Why're you in?"
You explain your situation about attacking one of Isabelle's guards.
He chuckles. "Strange."
You ask him why he's in here.
"Oh, I'm not a prisoner; I'm Isabelle's butler and jailor. I like to get to know my prisoners. Of course, I never get to release them, but you gotta have friends down here, amirite?" He winks at you. His eyes are a bright aqua.
You furrow your brow, and nod.
"I'm Algernon, but you can call me Algie." He stands up, knees cracking. You can see him fully now; he's a red panda. Well, more of a blue panda; he doesn't have a speck of red or brown on him. He's only blue and white.
You tell him your name.
"Griselda. ... Huh. Cute name. I've never met a Griselda before." He steps over. He's wearing the top of a Victorian-age tuxedo, complete with bright red bowtie. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Griselda." He begins to let himself out of the cell. "You'll be let out soon, I hope; Isabelle's tough, but fair. If the guard made a move on you first, she'll let you go." He begins to walk away, but not before calling out, "au revoir!"

Algernon, or, more simply, Algie, is Isabelle's butler and jailor, as he stated before. He's quite kind, and does converse with his prisoners quite a lot, which helps to spark hope that they'll be released one day. Although he is sweet, he has a short temper, so it's best to be decent, at least. He cannot STAND rude behavior.
