About
Loss-EER-rhal (roll the 'rh')
-Name means 'raincloud' (literally 'wet cloud')
-Scribe, writes down everything and keeps records
-This includes transcribing all of Wuhairoo-wex's sermons and commands, the Owsla's official meetings and orders, and a weekly record of everything officially done in the cult such as births, injuries, celebrations, crops harvested, structures repaired and in need of repair, etc.
-He does this all by hand, on paper.
-Has an eye for quality, in everything. Food, books, art, songs... pens.
-Has a hobby for doing calligraphy but obviously doesn't use calligraphy in his reports, that would take too much time!
-Has a slowly growing collection of writing utensils
-Loves good food and good meals, despite being rather skinny
-Would probably be easy to bribe if he wasn't so loyal and religious. He loves items of great quality but also fears for his eternal soul if he lies or betrays his cult's trust, and doesn't want to betray his cult anyway.
-Fluently speaks Naylte Hyao and Naylte Éan, the modern and archaic forms of Lapine.
-One of the more friendly adult rabbits to outsiders. Doesn't even mind helping you out with Lapine pronunciation if you're actually trying, which is good because most people don't roll the "rh" on accident.
-Goes on every official visit from the cult to the main town since he's the head scribe. There's a few people in town who give him little gifts. Perhaps because the rest of the cult is so standoffish, Loseerhal seems chipper in comparison. Plus he has a cute smile when he gets a nice new pen.
-Mates with Maythennion, though he's slightly younger. Became her mate after her previous husband decided to stay in the old town instead of following his wife and son.
-A good father to Hombeerthlay, they're very close. Loseerhal takes an interest in his adopted son's mechanics and turns a blind eye to Hombeerthlay's excursions outside of the cult. All he asks for in return is for Hombeerthlay to always turn to him if he needs help... and a little bribe now and then.
Somewhere close to Olde Foxbury but not quite part of town lines is a theocratic, totalitarian town consisting mostly of Rabbits. Almost as old as Foxbury itself, this town speaks both the common language and Lapine and worships the Rabbit prince El-Ahrairah. Within this town was a small cult who believed that the town had once been saved by a rat Seer whose soul was in the wrong body, and that he would return as a rabbit one day to lead them to a better life. Most of the cult broke away from the town after they believed their savior had been reborn as Wuhairoo-wex. There was never any doubt that Loseerhal was going to follow Wex away from the cult, and was one of the first people to accept that Wex was Wuhai reborn. When Maythennion's mate decided not to follow his family, Loseerhal was a rock she was able to lean on. He helped her with her 7-year-old son and after some initial drama, Loseerhal and Maythennion became mates after the cult was established with a set location.
