About
HOM-beer-TH-lay
(name meaning: Autumn fur.)
-13 years old
-Extremely skilled with mechanics and electronics, but the cult doesn't use very much machinery so Hombeerthlay's talent is seen as frivolous.
-Hopefully one day, Hombeerthlay will be able to change that and get them to accept technology that makes their lives easier.
-Mature for his age.
-Very intelligent
-Rebellious and sarcastic
-Has a heart of gold like his mother under all that snark.
-Son of Maythennion, adopted son of Loseerhal
-Biological father refused to follow Wuhairoo-wex away from the cult, but Hombeerthlay insisted on staying with his mother. He thinks of Loseerhal as his father now, though he didn't accept him at first.
-Both his parents insist his rebelliousness is a phase.
-despite being part of a cult, Hombeerthlay has very weak faith in religion and only does what his parents insist he does. Maythennion worries sometimes.
-Often sneaks out to hang out with Microwave and Barnabus, two kids in the main town about his age. Loseerhal often covers for him, knowing that if he punished Hombeerthlay for it, he would just stop telling him when he's sneaking out.
-Built his wolf all on his own.
Somewhere close to Olde Foxbury but not quite part of town lines is a theocratic, totalitarian town consisting mostly of Rabbits. Almost as old as Foxbury itself, this town speaks both the common language and Lapine and worships the Rabbit prince El-Ahrairah. Within this town was a small cult who believed that the town had once been saved by a rat Seer whose soul was in the wrong body, and that he would return as a rabbit one day to lead them to a better life. Most of the cult broke away from the town after they believed their savior had been reborn as Wuhairoo-wex. Hombeerthlay's biological father refused to follow Wuhairoo-wex away from the cult, but 7-year-old Hombeerthlay insisted on staying with his mother. He thinks of Loseerhal as his father now, though he didn't accept him at first.
