About
Raiden (or Raid for short) is stubborn and competitive, and a bit prideful, if also not a bit cowardly. He is also distrustful and skeptical of others due to his experiences. He has two older twin brothers, Kai and Rei; he looks up to the latter, being influenced by his interests and what others would consider to be bad habits. Drawing more influence from Rei, he's not very disciplined to say the least.
His brothers and him lost their parents at a young age, so his twin and him were raised by their older brothers; they were too young to remember their parents. His interests are limited, but he's highly passionate about them. He likes video games, especially music and racing games, his favorites being DJ Hero and Mario Kart respectively, listening to and making music, he's pretty fond of anything EDM, especially DnB, trap and hardstyle, drawing, browsing the internet, hacking, computer programming, building computers, collecting ninja related objects, ninjas in general, messing with poisonous and dangerous things, and secretly tending to plants, his favorite plant being fly traps of any and all kinds. He has his own personal greenhouse with many mystical and dangerous plants. He also likes to deejay on the side and is quite handy with turntables. He may seem shady and untrustworthy, but he's actually brutally honest, should he speak up. While he seems cool and serious on the outside, he's actually really cowardly and paranoid; his mind is very creative and calculating, although he's too lazy to actually formulate plans unless he feels the need to; he's also a thrill-seeker to a fault and prefers to wing things on a whim without any formulated plan for fun. He has confidence in his ability to get whatever he sets out to do done, but he has no confidence in himself, unless you toss a mirror at him- He still likes to believe he looks good. He's fond of going fast and likes being in high places, but has really bad motion sickness, especially sea sickness, and dislikes riding motorized vehicles and boats because of this. He's also deathly allergic to chocolate. His fears know no bounds, he's scared of most things, especially bugs, spiders the most, plushies (never could figure this out), and sudden surprises and loud noises. He finds comfort in the darkest of shadows, and feels most like himself when alone, or with his bros- being around them makes him more at ease.
Raid doesn't fight usually, but if he does, he prefers a stealthy approach, usually backstabbing from someone's shadow with poison tipped daggers. He keeps his daggers and screwdriver with himself, always; they are security blankets to him. Lemon flavored desserts and products, especially lemon meringue pies and lemonade also calm him down quickly. Overall, he's very conflicting, and it's pretty much down to his mood that'll determine what he decides to do. Getting him to actually notice and care about someone is the hard part, but should one succeed, he is faithfully loyal to those he becomes close to.
Shintou (or Shin for short) is socially awkward, but means well, and strives to be everyone's friend as well as just being the best he possibly can be. He's optimistic and fun-loving, and wants everyone to get along! He may be loud and annoying, almost borderline eccentric to some depending on how one looks at it, but he's just easily excitable. He has two older twin brothers, Kai and Rei, he looks up to the former, for despite how lazy he is, he knows that he can always look up to him and that he'll be there when he's actually feeling down. Also, his brother's a great chef, which is welcome since one can only stand take outs for so long.
Shin and his family lost their parents when he and his twin were a few months old, so they were raised by their older brothers. He however frowns upon laziness, and is a go-getter all the way through. His interests are small, but he is passionate about them. He likes books, especially mysteries, puzzles, anything that stimulates the brain mentally, activities that require one to think strategically, magic, research, making potions, chemistry, alchemy, academically inclined research and interests, collecting and studying rocks, and just anything that allows him to learn in general, especially if it's something related to new cultures, ideas/concepts, magic, races/species, or anything in general. He has a very open curious mind and is willing to learn and try new things. Shin, unlike his twin, wears his emotions on his sleeve.
He doesn't like going fast, and he's terribly afraid of heights, but he really likes bugs, as well as the different kinds of rocks. Shin has attended a highly reputable magic college, and was in the accelerated magic program held by the Headmaster of the college, and was classmates with someone who was a childhood friend of his oldest brother. While he's dabbled in most if not every element of magic, his specialty is the earth element, pertaining to rocks. However, being a mage, he's pretty flimsy, unlike most earth users. He also likes to swim in his spare time, more as a hobby to pass time. He's not well versed with technology like his twin is, so he usually doesn't bother with that.
He is close friends to a little happy cheerful sneep like feather winged dragon named Kasuko. Kasuko can usually be found curled up on Shin's head, and the two are practically inseparable. Shin made a sort of magic contract with Kasuko, so they are bonded by magic, which allows Shin to use light magic (as he can't use it normally), as well as a slight boost to his magical prowess. Kasuko himself is pretty fragile, so Shin keeps him safe. Pretty much, the two depend on each other as friends.
