Murdoc's close attachment to Bog may be the reason why he's able to control Chainsaw and keep the group together. The Angel dragon acts as a protective guard and not even Chain dares to pose a threat. Most of the time.
Murdoc is a rather quiet and watchful specimen compared to others of it's kind. To outsiders, it is a huge, intimidating bodyguard sneaking around Bog. Mainly friends actually witness Murdoc's playful and curious nature. It drops it's guard for beings close to it after being sure that they do not pose a threat.
