I know what you mean XD Normally that's true, but right now with the event going on ((Sadly which ends in two days )= )) a lot of items associated with making weapons are valued a lot higher than usual! These for us, both being from the same village, would be the "Ice chunk" and the "Ice Chisel". They're normally worth about 10 Fur Cash, or FC for short, each, but right now they're worth around 500FC each on the market~!
Well gasp indeed~! Unfortunately you can't change jobs again until an "even" hour comes around, but fortunately for you that's in another 40-ish minutes~! It goes off of "Furvilla time", which is -6GTM I believe... I just know I'm one hour ahead of it myself xD
But yes~! Animal Husbandry, or AH for short, is pretty simple and easy, but is more so the "late game" of sorts. When you're able to buy another house and create a second villager, either a second explorer could be helpful to start getting more items in a bit faster, but a "Herbalist" is usually the next recommended job to have~! They take seeds that Explorers find, and grow them into plants that Doctors and Alchemists use for potions~! Though, even if you don't have either class, you're able to take an easy to find item, and in 30 minutes to.... I think 3 hours is the longest for the rarer seeds, and get even more items of the same rarity and sell value~!
Though, always check the stalls for prices on items before you sell back. The "stalls" are the player run market, and items are usually valued much higher than their sell back value~! To find the stalls, click on the "commerce" tab in the Furvilla header, and then click on "search stalls"~

So! First off, even though Animal Husbandry is a good way to make money in the long term; starting off with an Explorer is a better idea. They're a job that brings you items and money without needing anything to start with~! And you can explore 20 times every hour! And that's not an hour cool-down from when you last explored; every time a new hour rolls around, you can explore another 20 times again... So you can explore at lets say, 8:59, and then you can start exploring again at 9:00~!
