Villager: Mephisto

Mephisto is a completely genderless beast of purest malice. It is a physical manifestation of darkness and negativity and one of many creatures similar to it. Its species is a hivemind and Mephisto's role is the brain. It commands the hive and uses them to force its will unto the world. It is also the only member of its hive with humanlike intelligence.

Despite this intelligence it does not desire friendship, love, compassion or any other "hindering" emotions mortal beings experience. It only wishes to blanket the world in eternal darkness and create the perfect environment for its hive and will do this using any means necessary.
