Yeah, mitigation seems to really only affect the base damage done by melee weapons, and not elemental spells
Yeah, I can imagine. If the feathered necklace didn't get an ability (it used to only provide resistances) I would have never stood a chance. But lightning damage doesn't care about high mitigation
I've done that before, too. Nearly forgot to this time!
And yeah, Fatal Flurry will roll an amount of lightning damage 12 times, and then deals 700 pure damage back to the caster. It's very effective against lower lightning resistance, but for people with higher resistance it could deal all zeroes.
