Edgar is a bit of an odd one. At quite a disconnect with his wealthy, busy, and ultimately distant parents, he was raised by tutors and maids. Each time he began to bond with one of them, his parents would replace them under the principle that he need not make friends with his teachers and subordinates. Ending up lonely and confused about his own identity, he found himself obsessed with things like fear and what caused it. That pulled him into the study of psychology, which led him to biological sciences. At some point, he separated himself from his family by going my the moniker "Edgar Allan Poe II" after his favourite poet. Knowing enough about inner physical and mental workings. he become a doctor.

Though, should anyone help from this vampire bat, they had best hope they can make it to dusk.
