Ryder is loving, he's cuddly and friendly, he opens his arms to anyone in need. His heart breaks when he sees someone sad, he can't resist going over, offering a hug and then talking over whatever has made them sad. In a relationships, he is strictly heterosexual but will let down an interested party gently, its tough for his girlfriends to deal with his friendly nature to everyone but he is 100% faithful and, while upsetting, he can't help the other party's trust issues.
His very best friend in the world is Katya, they met before Katya truly, fully accepted themself, at a time in Katya's life that was very hard on them, Ryder offered a shoulder to cry on, then much needed support to realise Katya could just be Katya and accept themself fully. During this they became the best of friends, so much so that anyone special in Ryder's life, must accept Katya fully as thery are very much a non romantic couple as they live together comfortably and have no plans to ever change that.
