Villager: Rade 了

You're away from the main town now, out in one of the battle stations located to the west of Tenset. This is one of the most active ones, but also the most secure.
There's a few warriors here, suiting up and getting their weapons ready. Among these fighters are two foxes, one is a red warrior who's still suiting up, and the other is a white angel who seems like she was prepared hours ago. As soon as the she sees you, the white fox steps forward with her hands on her hips and her chest puffed out, angelic wings slightly raised. Her expression is stern and her stance is completely fearless. The red fox is still pulling his leg armor up, but he's carefully watching you from the corner of his eye.
"Who are you? State your business!" The angelic fox barks with the authoritative tone of a Quetzal Palace drill sergeant. You're taken aback by her sudden aggression, but as soon as you explain your situation to her, she visibly becomes less tense. "I see. I apologize for my rudeness!"
As she gives a courteous bow, the red fox has finished suiting up his armor and he stands. He looks like he's about to comment about this whole situation, but then he seems to realize he doesn't care enough and drops it,. "15 minutes until we leave for our patrol..." His voice is a low, almost annoyed growl, "If you have business with us, say it quickly before we leave without you."

Rade is a reynard with a soul for independence, and is extremely solitary. He thrives for the excitement for battle, and only wants to secure victory in his grasp, every time he goes out. Very proud of his Dragonsmaw Manor origins, he often longs for the warm climate of his homeland and absolutely despises the "frozen hellhole" he lives in now. His home looks like it's decorated for Halloween year-round and his Draggy is tasked with keeping the fire warm and safe while Rade is out fighting monsters. He's homesick, but he knows he can never go back so he tries not to complain about it.

The biggest problem he has in this town is his love for battle, and his hatred of the cold. Being passed the Tigereye Peak border, Tenset is close to many strong, challenging monsters that even Rade has difficulty fighting, but the further he goes from the settlement, the further he is from his warm house. Thus, he's constantly trying to balance how far he goes to fight a challenging monster, versus how long he's willing to suffer frozen toes and a stuffy nose. He would be a truly fearsome warrior if he could just learn to embrace the cold.

He shares a kinship with Hebrew, and she's the only person Rade really considers a friend. She also misses her homeland, dislikes the cold, and has a great passion for fighting monsters. Perhaps one day something more will blossom out of their mutual understanding, but for now they're just acquaintances who often try to tag-team tedious monsters together and meet up for coffee after the monster hordes have been cleared.

He's stuck here because of a high-profile murder he committed. He claims he was paid handsomely for the assassination, but admits he would have done it without such payment. A very corrupt politician in Dragonsmaw Manor (and a political opponent of Dr. Chester) lost popularity and was booted out of the DMM government. However, because the politician was so corrupt, it was almost guaranteed he was going to come back. Rade refuses to identify who paid him, but he was hired to take out all four bodyguards and the politician himself. After this, his 'employer' provided him with a trip out of Dragonsmaw Manor and to a land where he would have full asylum. That land was Tenset.
