Cor is dead. But when Cor was not dead she was a magistrate and highly respected official, part of an ellite council of magi that oversaw a far reaching network of magical academies, guilds, and even a couple flying cities.
After being the victim of an assassin she decided the eternal slumber of the just wasn't her jam and came back as a shadow terror to follow her little brother around and make sure he's eating his vegetables and growing up right.
