Dear Diary - I am once again back in my own home, and not a moment too soon. The warming trend in the weather has brought an influx of monsters and I don't think even Blair could keep it in bay by herself. She is enthusiastic, but not invisible, as Doctor Barrow keeps trying to remind her.

While I was recovering, Arashi brought me a manti to keep as a pet. At first I was concerned that he would not be docile enough to keep inside or would object to the scent of fighting on me when I come home, but he is doing quite well. Also, pleasantly, there have been fewer pests around. I can not complain.

Dear Diary - It looks like I'm out for the count. The last of the ice, plus the mud, plus the hydra landed me in bed for at least a couple of months, according to Doctor Barrow. I think he's surprised I'm still kicking. I think he might be sad about that, honestly, but he could just need some alone time. I mean, he no sooner gets Juri off his couch than I land there for a week? I'd probably be cranky too.

At least it gives me time to get my sword and shield repaired. Harls is getting really good at smithing and once Blair and I started talking to him, old Ragnar decided to give us some of his old gear. Despite current appearances, fighting is way easier with a really good sword - even if it looks like a worthless costume piece. Seriously, so much filigree on the hilt! But it's strong and holds a seriously sharp edge. That's the important part.

Dear Diary - boy do I feel like an idiot! I dropped my shield off to get worked on, then took the long way home. Got attacked by at least ten monsters. Real monsters, not Blair being confused again. Fortunately I had my sword with me, so I avoided a visit to Doctor Fussbudget, but yeesh.

Dear Diary - today I was attacked by a bunny. No. Really. A bunny with big teeth and a sword. Apparently she thought I was a monster. And furries say I'm overzealous about my monster hunting!
