Man there's been a lot of monsters around lately! I mean a lot a lot! Not sure we can keep up if there keeps being so many of them! Maybe it's that spring's coming? I dunno! I've gotten several swords so I can keep hacking away while Harls patches things up. Poor girl, she's going to need ten arms the way these monsters are coming! Fortunately most of them are little spinerats, so you just go THWACK! and they're all I DIE! Heh.
Oh hey hello there! Adventuring has been wonderful! So much adventure! I've even managed to avoid too many visits to Doctor Sourpuss lately - unlike Kairn. He is on Indefinite Adventure Hiatus due to a run in with a suuuuuuuper rare hydra! Those things are a bear to take out, I tell ya', I guess this one got in a lucky hit. In the meantime, just means I'm that much busier!

I had to take a break from monster fighting for several days or Doctor Barrow said he was going to make a straight jacket out of bandages and stick me in it. Spoil sport! Just because I got a bit banged up that one day. It wasn't so bad, though, I explored instead! I found this really neat dilapidated cabin in the woods, super spooky stuff! ...except then I realized it was just old Ragnar's house. No monsters there!
Man oh man! I was out stalking monsters today and I came across one I'd never seen the likes of before! It was scaly, but with feathers too, and all black and white with a bit of orange and these wicked claws! And it had a sword and a shield too!
...turns out it was another warrior from the town. Oops! Good thing I didn't get a hit in or they would have been toast, I'm tellin' ya!
Okay, I might have been a bit over confident about the epic battles. Most of them were epic, though, okay! Just that one monster knew how to fight in a blizzard better than I do. That's all.
At least the doctor respected my devotion to protecting the village!
