I think I've found about every sort of treasure there is to find in this place, but I keep on looking for new stuff. Mainly I like the exercise. Lately, though, I've hardly dared go out without Blair or Kairn as an escort! I don't know if the monsters are coming out of hibernation or breeding but it's, yup, you guessed it - SUPER LAME! I dun' wanna be a guinea snack!
Well, it's still not spring, but at least the snow is gone? Now it's just drippy and wet all of the time and I come back from exploring with mud in my fur. Gross. Still better than snow, though. Way, way better.
Spring can get here any time now. Aaaaaaaaaaany time. The only good thing about this weather is the cocoa.
Okay, burrowing around is not such a great idea. I spent a good portion of the day being royally sick! Being sick when there's a festival going on? Yeah, that sucks. Having to go to Doctor Barrow also sucks. Having to go to Doctor Barrow when there's a saber-tooth bunny bleeding all over the place, but still recapping her latest epic battle? ALL THE SUCK! ....and also really kinda creepy.
And suddenly instead of just exploring, I'm burrowing too! Guinea pigs weren't meant for burrowing! Do these stubby little arms look like awesome burrowing tools? I didn't think so! This whole snow thing would suck so hard if it weren't for the Festival. I mean, it just doesn't seem right to have Snow Festival without snow. And the fairies! Love these little guys. So, yeah, I guess I can burrow for a bit.
Man, I think I need to find another line of work. Exploring is hard when you have stumpy lil' legs like me! It's exercise! I HATE exercise! Maybe I'll become an herbalist, then I can just sit and grow tasty things all day. Oh, but I guess I won't make any money if I eat it all. Hmmm.
Finally got sick enough of being, well, sick to bite the bullet and buy some potion from a non-local vendor. Cost me a pretty penny, but hey, worth it, right? Right - up until I heard that Doctor Barrow finished a batch a couple of hours after I got mine! LAME! Coulda saved all that money. Oh well, at least I'm not sick anymore.
Man, what kind of doctor runs out of anti-plague medicine in plague season? Really, it's not as if the entire town is sick! ...or maybe it is. Hm. Still, this sucks. This still sucks. SUCK!
BLARGH. Plague sucks! And right when I'm trying to get settled in too. Managed to get a little exploring done, but not much. And the doctor is out of medicine right now. Super sad face.
