Cold, indifferent, self-centered, how did Sar ever get to be a farmer? Surely someone so power-hungry and careless of his fellow beings would be a warrior, a doctor, or something even more powerful? But Sar likes plots, and perhaps that's close enough to pots to count. Also, he does have complete and total control of his little plant kingdom here. They live or die at his command, and he harvests their souls when he feels like it. If Sar realizes his talents for evil are being wasted, he seems okay with that. He doesn't have many friends, one being the indefatigable Cheema, and even fewer that he respects, like Sala, who makes his pots for him.

Dashiel and his sister Kessi are the cofounders and co-Presidents of Explorer Enterprises, a company that sells both finished products and raw materials to all of the Furvilla. Part of that finished products business, or at least the partially finished products business is Sar's flowers. While these are sold pretty much only to other Quetzal Palace villagers, they do help bring in a lot of the company's income. In fact, they're pretty much its only source of quick, steady income. Despite this dependence, or perhaps because of it, Sar claims he does not actually work for the company, and is merely 'freelancing' for them. He has little interaction with other members of the company, and actively avoids the animal husbandry side branch. He can't stand 'cute little animals' at any price.
