Villager: Kaieda

Kaieda—Kai for short—is a selectively mute creature, preferring only to speak aloud to their nearest and dearest friends. Kai is one of the few that can handle Six’s brusque manner, Forge’s silence, and Zheng’s eccentricities, sometimes all at once if they manage to stumble into the same place all at once.

When Kai does speak, some find the moth’s dual-tone voice to be somehow unnerving, while others find it oddly soothing.

Kai would never hurt a fly, unless that fly tried to hurt them first. In that case, Kai is quite the eccentric soul themself, and can sometimes be seen dashing about their shop with a needle in one of their hands, on the trail of a fly or some other such creature that had flown against their head one too many times.
