Villager: Douggie

As a young teen, Douggie fled his home in the industrialised east to both escape a troubled family life and make it on his own as an adventurer. The boy hopped from town to town, cart to cart, relying on the kindness of strangers to make his way as far from home as possible. Months down the line, a waning shadow of the boy he once was made an attempt to steal an abandoned horse, ready to change his dwindling luck for the better.

All he got, however, was a shot straight through the hand. Thankfully, the grizzled cowboy who owned the bullet paid graciously for his doctor's bill and set him to work off the debt; the two now travel the wilderness, facing the unknowns of the world together.

He's also scared of jellyfish now (thanks FurVilla!)
