Villager: Baileys

A vampiric incubus with little inclination to show any sort of emotional attachment, Baileys is a formidable demon in combat--his main weapon is a scythe--despite his delicate appearance and size. He is the son of a vampire king and a peasant succubus, an illegitimate child who is kept tied to the vampire's bloodline and family solely to keep the bloodline from spreading without the king's knowledge. Fair of face, cold of heart, and often brutal in nature, Baileys avoids matters which engage his sympathies and instead busies himself with carrying out orders from the vampire royal family, or trying to please his father in hopes of some kind of validation.

He dislikes getting dirty and seems to like plants very much. Ultimately he avoids emotional attachment because it weakens him--but in reality he seems to crave it, in the back of his mind. Unwanted in childhood, he seeks connections and gentle hands, but masks this with his own carnal nature to avoid being seen as weak in the eyes of his superiors. His mother was killed by his father soon after his birth to avoid the wrath of his wife, something that Baileys resents solely for the idea that his mother might have loved him more.

His "cousin" (not biological but more self-proclaimed than anything else) is a pureblood incubus named Bellus, a servant in the castle and personal servant of Baileys' father. The two are constantly at each others' throats, as Bellus loves to irritate Baileys and mock him whenever possible. Baileys feels little remorse for the demon, but does wince to think of how emotionally difficult it must be to use his father as a food source. Bellus, however, acts as though he doesn't mind the vampire king's cruelty.

Presently, Baileys keeps going to the royal garden more and more to visit a certain someone that he's grown very fond of. The two become involved, though they have to keep it secret--Baileys entertains the thought of running away with Kay, but fears what might happen if they fail.
