*Story*
Kin was a cat born with a strange ability to summon blue fire. He never knew that he had killed both of his parents by accident when he was much younger. His grandmother felt the need to tell him and Kin was broken when he learned of his faults.
He grew up blaming himself constantly. He met Marmalade, a sweet cat who helped him regain his confidence. But he considered his power a curse, and hid it from her. They ended up liking each other, and got together.
It was peaceful for a little while. Different males asked Marmalade out, but she was already with Kin. They grew angry and ganged up on her, beating her up. Kin heard her screams from afar and rushed to her side. He grew unbearably angry, his power lashing out and killing the males. But his rage was too much, and he couldn’t control himself. He ended up killing Marmalade also. He tore himself apart when he got ahold of himself and saw what he did.
Croissant, a reaper marmalade had befriended, learned of her death and tried to revive her. He failed, only managing to summon Marmalade’s rage towards Kin. Her rage began haunting Kin from that point on.
Croissant was exiled and immediately went to try and kill Kin. But he was too weak from his recent exile and lost.
Kin was shaken up and ran away from his hometown. He began avoiding other females, and struggled to keep his power in check as Marmalade’s rage slowly killed him from the inside.
One day while walking through a forest, he saw a pink cat struggling to tear out stitches. He helped her, using his flames to burn away the stitches. It was then that he realized she looked eerily similar to Marmalade and scrambled away.
Angel dust(the cat) ignored this and begged him to shelter her. He refused multiple times, but eventually agreed when Marmalade told him that she was running away from _them_.
Kin ends up falling in love with Angel dust, and hates himself for it. He believes he’ll end up harming the ones he loves. When Angel dust learns that he was going against his feelings, she goes to Kin, planning to confront him.
But then croissant appeared, trying to kill Kin once more. Croissant reveals to angel dust what happened to Marmalade and why Kin was like the way he was now. Angel dust stopped Croissant from killing Kin. But she demands to know everything.
She and kin get into a fight, and Marmalade suddenly appears, causing Angel Dust to faint. Kin learns that Angel dust was like a vessel for Marmalade, and through Angel dust, she observed Kin. She forgives him, and Marmalade’s rage fades away, taking away Kin’s darkness with it.

Croissant laughed quietly as Marmalade’s spirit slowly crumbled away. “Oh Marmalade” He shook his head. “That’s so like you.”
He walked away, glancing back only once at Kin and Angel dust. _Good luck, you two._ He smiled faintly.
