About
The Giver

(Despite account holder's village being in Oceandome, Ellie and her boarding house are both located in Dragon's Maw Manor.)
Ellie Rook is a squirrel with a large heart and a dedication to helping the disenfranchised that goes far beyond her day job as a nurse and apothecary. Together with her younger brother (when he's around) she runs a boarding house for the downtrodden or financially unstable.
She holds dinner at seven sharp but will bring meals up if a lodger is bed-ridden. Always on hand with a pot of tea or a book that might help, she is a prolific reader and is rarely found without a manuscript in one hand and a tool in the other, and can be depended on for all manner of advice or just a ready ear to listen.
Her favorite places to read are: In bed, in the kitchen garden on the stone bench, in the kitchen propped up against the counter, in the parlor on a rainy day, and at the beach.
Wtf i love this cutie
Awww thank ye for reading the bio <3
She's so cute, I love her.
"They're Wriggling Algae," Ben piped enthusiastically, turning a beaming expression down on her, "They're from Oceandome! Faust and I traded seeds from our collections, and these just finished growing this morning, aren't they neat?"
He chuckled and spared the plants an adoring look, unraveling their stems from his fur carefully. It wasn't a wonder that the prince was out and about so early, by the afternoon the entire town would know about his cultivation success. Normally when he came to the boarding house it meant one of the Knights was close in tow, but today he'd come alone.
"What's it that you're reading, Ellie?" He asked curiously, leaning to get a better look at the books cover.
I love her looks, she reminds me of those innkeepers of the older days <3
"Ellieeee-!"
It was Ben- singing her name in an excitable voice. He rushed up over to her side, and in his arms were a mass of frosty coloured stems, all writhing and wriggling independently of each other. He held them out for her to see as he bounced on the balls on his feet, hardly able to contain his own enthusiasm.
"Look'it- look'it them! It only took a couple hours, and-and then there they were!" He howled gleefully and danced about in front of her whilst the plants tangled their tendrils into his fur for fear of falling. "Wait until I show, Faust! He'll be totally happy when he comes back to visit!"
