One starry night, a meteor fell from the sky, landing in the mountain ranges. Out of the crash site stumbled a small child, a black rat with blue eyes, a blue nose and a blue tail. A rather strange sight, as adventurers and explorers came to inspect the crash only to find a confused child who couldnt remember why hes there.
Many odd things would happen around this rat as he grew up. Plants grew healthier around him, and he was able to find trasures by accident.. And thus started a sad tale of use and abuse. Many took advantage of him, chaining him up, capturing him, forcing him to find treasures for them or to grow their crops for them. He could heal, even bring the dead back to life with hos strange blue blood, which was forcefully drained from him and sold.
One day however, a large dragon lady stood infront of his cage, her sword covered in the blood of his captors.
He once had no name, no future, but as the dragon lady, who he came to know is named Azuila dragged him out of that dark place, she took him home to her mansion.
As they tried to feed him and make him heal, the doctor, azuila, and everyone else in her guild helping him, he gained the name Soda. Because he loved soda more than anything. Wether it was cola or fizzy orange, he was obsessed with the bubbly sugary liquids. It made him happy, a feeling he had rarely felt.
Azuila saved him when he was 13, and over the next 7 years, he was raised with love, rather than abuse. Azuila never used him, or took advantage of him. Even when he offered her to find her treasures, or to give her his blood, she refused.
He sees her as a mom. Shes strict, maybe even a bit scary sometimes. Often coming home covered in blood.. But he adores his mom, shes his mom. The only mom hes ever had. Once he became an adult, she finally let him take the test and become an official member of her guild.
And, he became an explorer. Finally, able to bring treasures back to his mom, to repay her for all that she had given him, all she saved him from.
His origin is still a mystery, but he no longer cares. As far as hes concerned, hes a living star who found a home with a lonely old dragon and her family of adventurers.
