Villager: Sonja

Sonja is an extremely kind, but shy cat. As much as she wants social interaction, she just can't shake the feeling that she'll offend someone, be awkward, or be judged, even though most of the time, she's not. She tends to be very conscious of her words, maybe a little too much sometimes... She believes in treating others how she wants to be treated, and will usually be very nice, but she doesn't like her kindness to be taken for weakness or granted.

She's an avid fan of animals and plushies, optimistically collecting and loving both. She quite enjoys her Animal Husbandry job. She also enjoys gardening and tends the plants from her Herbalist career. Even though they look menacing and are sometimes aggressive, they're actually pretty nice! She even has tea parties with them! She's pretty sad whenever she has to sell them or give them to Di for medicine. And, she especially hates when Di purposely chops them viciously in front of her. What is it about dogs being so mean to cats? Ulp, I made her mad saying that. Gotta run!

She's very soft-spoken, having a child-like voice that just melts your (okay, my) heart when you hear it. She feels bad when she yells, often apologizing right afterwards. She's usually never aggressive, but as anyone would, if the right thing bothers her, she'll be ready to bring her claws out, both literally and figuratively. Despite her large size, she's not much of a bully and never throws her weight around. At the same time, she tends to forget how big and strong she is when she hugs anyone smaller than her. Bewear... This also applies to when she tries to If I Fits, I Sits, pouncing on someone (oh man) and the fact she's not a lapcat for a reason... I swear, she feels like a bowling bowl was sat on your lap. >A< I know she can't help it, but like... sweetie, Ben is only six and half pounds, you are like 17, that's quite a jump there. Wait, don't Maine Coons grow until they're five (or 50 in the case of my characters)? ...oh no... ...OH NO... She's already fat large now...

Sonja's relationship with Di is strange, but innocent to say the least. She enjoys visiting the crazed Doberman, but is somewhat aware of the danger it poses. She understands that when calls her in a high, nice tone that she's up to something though she often gets roped into doing it anyway. She usually wants to play with her, having a kitten-like personality and tends to like having long conversations with Di, because she feels safe talking to her. Sonja cares about Di as vice versa, going out of her way to help her if she's in need and making her feel better when she's down. Though she originally got annoyed with Di calling her "kid", since she's not that much older than her, she soon accepted it as an affectionate nickname. She's one of the few animals that truly understands Di... She's not bad at all, just... morally misguided sometimes, ya know?

My fursona is Sonja, who is me as a cat (albeit much more shy, nervous, and cowardly). She is a Maine Coon Mix (I'm not sure what the other breeds are yet...). She is a Calico with sprinkles of Orange and Gray Tabby markings. She wears a light teal collar with a gold bell and often carries around a large catnip mouse plushie named "Stitches".

Edit: Because I'm new to how cat coat patterns are called, I didn't realize Sonja WOULD be a Calico and not... a Tuxedo/Calico/Tabby whatever I said before. She's apparently a Tabbico? Though, the term "Cabby" is cuter. :3 So, when I complained before about the accidental pick before, I actually picked RIGHT, I just didn't realize it.

Trivia; That bowtie on her chest? That's part of her fur. I originally intended for her design to be part Tuxedo, part Calico, and part Tabby to encompass all of my favorite cat coat patterns, but once you add the orange, a black and white cat is no longer a Tuxedo. She's the kind of commercial Calico plushie makers love, where they just make big patches of orange and don't give a crap. XD Also, please never imply that she's a Frankenstein monster, that hurts her feelings (she always feels weird because she looks like she's five cats in one and the heterochromia doesn't help).

Fun fact! You see her ID number? Yes, it's a 5-Digit. But... it's also pretty special, too! 1510 is a number I'm associated with! When I was younger, I'd make my usernames on various sites the age I currently was (in this case, 15) and 10, my lucky number. That was the last age I did that, to be honest, because from now on, I associate as just Rigbybestie, FluffRig, or ThatTomboyWithTheHats/TheTomboyWithTheHats. That's pretty neat, huh?
