taro goes about life unhurried, generally minding his own business and doing his own thing, drifting from place to place looking for food and things to pocket. he reads as tired, lazy, and stubborn, and often comes off very dry and snarky with little concern for other's opinions or desires. however, despite his lethargic nature, he's wicked fast and nasty strong in a fight, and thus has developed a side career of beating up monsters for their lunch money. the stick he carries is his weapon, but he also utilizes it for walking, climbing, and carrying things. additionally, he may look youthful, but he has a tendency to act like a geezer at times...
